Testosterone Replacement Therapy
TRT for men,
done properly.
For men with a clinically confirmed cause, testosterone replacement therapy is a considered medical decision, made by a doctor, after a proper assessment and a blood test. Not a questionnaire that ends in a prescription.
Information only. No obligation. A symptoms assessment is not a diagnosis.
(What it actually is)
Low testosterone is a
medical question.
Testosterone naturally declines with age, and a range of health conditions can affect it too. When levels are genuinely low and that is contributing to symptoms, it is called testosterone deficiency, and it is something a doctor can assess.
The catch is that the symptoms men notice, low energy, low drive, poor focus, a flat mood, are common and have many possible causes. That is exactly why a checklist can never confirm it. Testosterone deficiency is confirmed with a medical assessment and a blood test, not a hunch.
Why testing matters: these symptoms can be caused by sleep, stress, thyroid, mental health and other conditions. Testing tells you and your doctor what is really going on, so you treat the right thing.
(How treatment is decided)
A doctor-led pathway,
every time.
Every program at The Testo Clinic begins with a real consultation with a doctor. Here is how a decision about treatment is actually made.
A free, no-obligation consultation
We start with a real conversation about your symptoms, your health history and what you want to understand. No pressure, and no assumptions.
A full pathology screen
Where appropriate, a doctor requests a blood test, a full panel rather than a single number, to check your hormone levels alongside your general health.
A doctor reviews everything
A clinician reviews your history, symptoms and results together, and decides whether treatment is appropriate, or whether another path makes more sense.
Monitored over time, if you proceed
If treatment is deemed medically appropriate, it is reviewed and adjusted over time with repeat testing. Care continues; it is not set once and forgotten.
(If it's right for you)
What treatment
may help with.
For men with a clinically confirmed cause, and only where a doctor considers it appropriate, treatment may help support everyday energy, mood, drive, concentration and overall quality of life.
It is not a quick fix and it is not for everyone. Like any medical treatment, TRT carries potential risks and side effects, which your doctor will talk through with you before anything begins. Whether it is suitable, and how you respond, varies from one person to the next.
Some men are better helped with lifestyle changes, further investigation, a referral, or no treatment at all. A good assessment is honest about that.
Individual results vary based on your unique biology and circumstances. Assessment findings do not guarantee a particular outcome, and ongoing monitoring may be required.
(Behind the assessment)
Real doctors.
A real assessment.
Here at The Testo Clinic, your care is led by experienced doctors who review your history, symptoms and pathology results before any treatment is considered. No assumptions, no shortcuts, and a clear answer either way.

Ask your own questionWhat is testosterone replacement therapy?
TRT is a doctor-led medical treatment for men with clinically confirmed low testosterone. It is prescription-only, considered only after assessment and pathology testing, and is not suitable for everyone.
How do I know if it's right for me?
You can't know from symptoms alone. Low testosterone is confirmed with a blood test and a medical assessment. A doctor weighs your results, history and overall health before deciding whether treatment is appropriate.
Is the consultation the same as a prescription?
No. A consultation is an assessment, not a script. Some men are suitable for treatment, some are better helped another way, and for some no treatment is the right answer.
What are the possible risks?
As with any treatment, TRT carries potential risks and side effects. Depending on the person, these can involve sleep apnea, the skin, the prostate, breast tissue, fertility and red blood cell levels. Your doctor will discuss the risks relevant to you and monitor you over time.
