The Honest Version

What this is,
honestly.

Low testosterone is a real medical condition. Its symptoms can overlap with many other things. We carefully assess your symptoms, review your blood test results, and determine whether treatment is clinically appropriate. If it is, we'll explain what treatment involves so you can make an informed decision.

Individual results vary. Treatment is not suitable for everyone.

(Why men come in)

These symptoms
have many causes.

Men come to us describing some of the symptoms below. Every one of them has many possible causes. Low testosterone is only one. The only way to know is a blood test ordered by a doctor. This is not a diagnosis.

Low energy

Running flat by the afternoon is common. Sleep, stress, diet, thyroid and other health issues can all play a part. Low testosterone is only one possible cause.

Low mood

Flat or low mood has many possible causes. Testosterone is one of them, and far from the only one. A blood test is the only way to check your levels.

Low drive

A drop in drive or motivation can come from many directions. It does not point to one single cause. An assessment helps work out what is going on.

Brain fog

Trouble concentrating can have many causes, from poor sleep to stress. On its own it proves nothing.

Loss of strength

Losing strength, or finding recovery harder, is common with age and many other factors. Low testosterone is only one possibility.

Feeling off

Many men just feel off and cannot name why. That feeling has many possible causes. The point of an assessment is to find out.

Individual results vary based on your unique biology and circumstances. Assessment findings do not guarantee a particular outcome, and treatment is not suitable for everyone.

(The honest part)

It takes time,
and it is not for everyone.

We won't make claims about what you'll experience. We'll explain what the evidence supports and what the process involves.

Testosterone therapy is a prescription-only medical treatment. Like any treatment, it carries potential risks and side effects. Depending on the person, these can include effects on sleep apnea, the skin, the prostate, breast tissue, fertility and sperm production, and red blood cell levels. Your doctor talks these through with you and monitors you over time.

It is a prescription medical treatment. It is not prescribed for weight loss or body shape. Whether it is suitable, and how you respond, varies from one person to the next. For some men a different path, or no treatment, is the right answer.

Individual results vary based on your unique biology and circumstances. Assessment findings do not guarantee a particular outcome, and ongoing monitoring may be required.
